| Cave
diving is an extremely dangerous occupation. The escape
route for the open water diver, to the surface, does not exist
underground, where the way out is frequently to return the way
one goes in.
Over
the years of exploring submerged passages the Cave Diving
Group has developed a training schedule and technical expertise
in this field which is second to none.
This
experience is set out in this book, and I have no doubt that
its use in training and equipping the cave divers of the future
will increase their ability to extend our knowledge of the
underground world in greater safety.
